2020 has indeed been a defining year for all delivery businesses in India. The global health crisis and the ensuing lockdowns have led home deliveries to make the transition from being a lifestyle choice to a lifeline. Dunzo has seen an increasing number of customers embrace its safety and convenience during this challenging period.
With the majority of the population being shut indoors for a larger part of the year, we’ve observed that the ordering habits of Indians have seen a distinct shift as compared to the preceding years. Altered routines and a change in priorities have caused a perceptible distinction in consumer behavior.
From Condoms, IPills, and Pregnancy tests being the highest orders in the Medicine category, to most cities ordering cat food over dog food, to the recent surge in demand for healthy alternatives, some of these data points certainly stood out from the usual.
